How does per-user pricing work?
You're billed for active users in a given month — people who connected to the mesh at least once. Devices are unlimited on paid plans, so a single user can run Interconnect on their laptop, phone and a dozen servers at no extra cost.
What counts against the free tier's 20 devices?
Any client or gateway that joins your network — laptops, phones, servers, and FastForge Edge appliances. You can mix and match however you like up to 20, with no time limit and no credit card.
Can I self-host the control plane?
Yes. Business and Enterprise plans can run the coordination server in your own VPC or on-prem. The data plane is always peer-to-peer, so traffic never transits our infrastructure regardless of plan.
Do you offer discounts for startups or nonprofits?
We do — early-stage startups, registered nonprofits and educational institutions get 50% off the Team and Business plans. Reach out to sales with a bit of context and we'll set you up.
What happens when I cancel?
Your network keeps working until the end of the billing period, then drops to the free tier. Nothing is deleted — re-subscribe any time and your policies, devices and audit history are right where you left them.
Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
No fees on Free, Team or Business. Enterprise includes white-glove onboarding and migration assistance as part of the contract.
